Going All Soft For Pillow Planters
March 13, 2012 by Robin Plaskoff Horton
As I learn more about the benefits of indoor plants–such as how they improve air quality by filtering the air and removing toxins–I also contemplate how to integrate them with a room’s design.
I consider these indoor plants much like a fashion accessory, in the way a scarf or belt completes the outfit. Or a toss pillow just finishes off that sofa or chair. A few like-minded designers have created pillows that are at the same time planters– fashionable containers that hold plants.
Israeli company, Libel Design, creates their planters from a durable high quality textile material on one side, and an easy to clean waterproof fabric on the reverse side.
The pillows can be placed anywhere–on the floor, a table, even on the sofa.
The pillow pots have a removable container to allow for easy drainage, as well as a removable cover for easy cleaning.
The Cactu Collection, above.
Pillow pot: 54/54 cm 12.5 cm high. Available from Libel Design, from $49-69.
Container: 26 cm diameter, can hold 3-4 plants.
Inflatable Pillows
For pillow pots that live well outdoors, French company, Art Terre has a line of inflatable pillows called (Re)Plant. Constructed from Pévétex, a recycled PVC textile material from the automotive industry, these pillows are flat until you blow them up and then they become cushions.
Once inflated, they even float.
Art Terre explains their mission is to turn waste into a resource and turn that into ecodesign that will offer a sustainable alternative, encourage responsible consumption, and minimize the environmental footprint.

I love these. They are unique, ingeniously designed, and estheticly pleasing.
I especially like the ones that float.

I’m not convinced about the regular pillow planters, but the floating ones! Oh, yes, please!! Now all I need is a pond to float them in……

Another thing I’ve noticed is always that for many people, less-than-perfect credit is the reaction to circumstances over and above their control. By way of example they may be actually saddled with an illness and because of this they have substantial bills going to collections. It may be due to a job loss or inability to work. Sometimes divorce process can truly send the financial circumstances in an opposite direction. Thanks sharing your notions on this site.

Great post right here. One thing I’d like to say is the fact that most professional areas consider the Bachelor’s Degree just as the entry level standard for an online college degree. Though Associate Diplomas are a great way to get started, completing a person’s Bachelors presents you with many doorways to various employment goodies, there are numerous internet Bachelor Diploma Programs available from institutions like The University of Phoenix, Intercontinental University Online and Kaplan. Another concern is that many brick and mortar institutions offer Online versions of their college diplomas but typically for a greatly higher charge than the companies that specialize in online college degree programs.

Thanks for another informative website. Where else could I get that kind of info written in such a perfect way? I’ve a project that I am just now working on, and I’ve been on the look out for such information.

Yet another thing I would like to mention is that instead of trying to accommodate all your online degree programs on days and nights that you finish off work (because most people are fatigued when they get back), try to receive most of your classes on the week-ends and only a couple of courses in weekdays, even if it means a little time off your saturday and sunday. This is beneficial because on the saturdays and sundays, you will be extra rested and concentrated on school work. Many thanks for the different points I have discovered from your weblog.

I have noticed that online diploma is getting well-known because obtaining your college degree online has changed into a popular solution for many people. A huge number of people have certainly not had a chance to attend an established college or university yet seek the increased earning possibilities and a better job that a Bachelor’s Degree gives you. Still people might have a college degree in one course but would wish to pursue a thing they already have an interest in.

You really make it seem really easy together with your presentation but I to find this topic to be really something that I believe I might by no means understand. It kind of feels too complex and very wide for me. I am taking a look ahead for your next post, I?ll attempt to get the hold of it!

One thing I have actually noticed is there are plenty of fallacies regarding the banks intentions if talking about foreclosed. One myth in particular is the bank prefers to have your house. Your banker wants your hard earned cash, not the home. They want the money they gave you having interest. Avoiding the bank will simply draw any foreclosed summary. Thanks for your posting.

Thanks for your publication. I also think that laptop computers have grown to be more and more popular lately, and now will often be the only type of computer used in a household. Simply because at the same time actually becoming more and more reasonably priced, their processing power keeps growing to the point where they’re as effective as desktop coming from just a few years back.

I’m not sure exactly why but this weblog is loading extremely slow for me. Is anyone else having this issue or is it a problem on my end? I’ll check back later and see if the problem still exists.

Thanks for revealing your ideas on this blog. As well, a myth regarding the banking institutions intentions any time talking about foreclosed is that the bank will not have my repayments. There is a degree of time which the bank can take payments occasionally. If you are very deep inside hole, they will commonly call that you pay the actual payment in whole. However, that doesn’t mean that they will not take any sort of repayments at all. In case you and the bank can find a way to work something out, your foreclosure process may stop. However, if you continue to miss out on payments wih the new strategy, the foreclosures process can pick up where it was left off.
