Modfire Introduces Tabletop Fireplace

June 18, 2012 by

Parlaying off the success of their award-winning Urban Campfire outdoor fireplace, Modfire has introduced Tablefire, an exact 1/2 scale replica for the tabletop. Tablefire burns an eco-friendly, clean burning gel fuel that’s safe for indoor or outdoor use–so take it outdoors on the patio then bring it in to use inside.

Fabricated from 20 gauge steel, each piece is hand-rolled in Modfire’s Arizona studio by one their steel artisans into a sleek cone designed to direct the heat and provide a beautiful modern centerpiece for your table.

“This is the ideal piece for city-dwellers that enjoy the outdoors but don’t necessarily have the space or yard for a larger outdoor fireplace,” says Brandon Williams, designer and co-founder of Modfire. “They still have the ability to toast marshmallows, have that cozy ambiance that you get from a fire, and all while adding a modern design element to their home.”

Each Tablefire is unique and will have slight variations in size and finishing. In general, they measure 11″ in diameter at the base, 4″ at the top and stand 24″ and weigh about 10 lbs.

With several layers of high-temperature paint to protect the steel and provide a vibrant finish, Tablefire comes in Natural Steel or any of Modfire’s other color finishes: Ultra-lounge White, Avocado, Azure, Maraschino, or Tangerine.

$580 + shipping and handling, available from Modfire.
