Nature-inspired Ceramic Tiles, Plates, and Vases

I really love these garden-inspired ceramic tiles by British artist Alison Milner.  Printed on a variety of glazed pale colored tiles, she applies original photographic images and drawings, but you can also commission her to design custom tiles.

Also from nature-inspired images, Milner creates these beautiful plates. I love the birds.

I can see these vases gracing a patio or indoor table–I think they’d make great gifts.

Hi Thanks for featuring the ceramics…I just wanted to add that the vases are hand made by ceramicist Christiane Kersten.

I like how you connect the books themselves to the wider cultural moment around them—it makes the recommendations feel more meaningful than a simple list. Are there any newer releases you think are already starting to shape that conversation?
