When Outdoors and Indoors Get Hitched

I am in Paris this week covering the Maison & Objet design fairs where Cohabitation is a major theme. Maybe you’re thinking–it’s France, must be about unmarried couples shacking up.  It is about marriage. The marriage of the outdoors and the indoors. Between technology and biology, a merging of the urban setting with nature.

I will be posting about the current trends on view at the shows: nature at the heart of everyday life where the boundaries between indoors and out are erased as designers explore the cross-fertilization of all things natural, urban, and technological.

Stay tuned!

I am trying to figure out, what lies behind and within this creative artwork. It’s about a real slow effort to come up with a meaningful compromise between technology and life…. ~bangchik
