New York City Parks and Recreation if sponsoring a tour of the 4th largest eco-roof in New York City, atop the Parks Department’s 5-Boro Technical Services complex on Randall’s Island on Friday, July 17th.

The complex hosts eight traditional green roof systems and five nontraditional systems. It is among the only sites in the nation where you can see and compare so many different green roof systems growing side by side. The group will meet in Harlem to catch the bus (a short ride) to Randall’s Island for a 4:00-5:00 p.m. tour. Please contact Martha at martha.powers@parks.nyc.gov to RSVP and to receive more details.
