This just in: the beautiful garden book, Refresh Your Garden Design, is now on the scene. The book is latest work of California garden designer Rebecca Sweet, owner of Harmony in the Garden and the talent behind the blog, Gossip in the Garden.

    This is my first year to garden and not only am I amazed at EVERYTHING, but its very addictive and theraputic!! I used to say I could kill a silk plant until this past April when I went to this nursery, Deez Treez, and upon meeting Dee,my life hasn’t been the same since…which is a good thing!!     I really empathize with Rebecca Sweets’ style of gardening; really focusing on form, shape, and environmental considerations…not just picking something that’s pretty or trending.

    It takes a lot more thought and planning, but ends up 100x as beautiful as conventional garden/landscapes. Great post!
