Robin is the the co-facilitator of The Blog Workshops, creative writing and social media storytelling and strategy workshops. An experienced speaker and creative facilitator, she has presented about storytelling for social media at The Mother Nature News Fair, The Garden Writers Association, Women at Woodstock, The Entrepreneurial Women’s Network, and The Garden Bloggers Conference.

Robin is also Principal of Robin Horton Design, a strategic communications design firm that partners with businesses to analyze issues, generate ideas, and inspire creative solutions. Prior to founding her company in 1990, Robin was VP, Manager of Design Services at Burson-Marsteller, where clients included Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), Merrill LynchThe Kennedy Center, AT&T, and General Electric. Robin has worked at some of the world’s leading design firms, including Rudolph de Harak & Associates in New York, and Baltus und Rüegg in Zurich, Switzerland. She has a BA in French from The University of California, Berkeley, a BFA from The Cooper Union, studied The Sorbonne in Paris, and The New School in New York.

Robin speaks French and can manage herself respectably in Italian, is a seasoned global traveler, loves food, and has stepped backwards off a cliff in Utah (secured with ropes of course.)
