We received so many creative and beautiful entries to the Indoor-Outdoor Spa Sanctuaries Pinterest Contest we hosted with Mr. Steam–we just had to share some of our favorites!

It’s been so sweltering hot on the east coast this summer, we couldn’t help but envy the image that Elaina K posted. On a London rooftop, you can sit in hot tubs and watch movies under the stars! Yes, please.

Katie Selman’s board had us dreaming. Each picture was a piece of paradise. The following two belong to her board.

In my imagination, this is fresh spring water:

Pictured on an urban deck, these outdoor wooden spa baths are amazing!

Thank you Megan Hardman for sharing this amazing stone sanctuary, which I know is from an old Italian Grotto named Sextantio Le Grotte della Civita. (If you’ve never explored photos of Sextantio, you must.)

This beautifully chic mix of indoor-outdoor aesthetic is from Elizabeth Langston’s lovely board.

Also from Elizabeth’s board is this amazing tropical sanctuary which looks ideal for napping! I’m there…

Vanessa Smith posted some really inspiring pictures. What a great idea to have a tub sunken in water–it’s like floating, completely surrounded by more water.

Thank you Tonda Oakes for finding this artful example of rustic serenity.

Any words for this mosaic tiled curvy tub in a cave-like space? This pin on Renee Borghesi’s board really makes me want to escape there.

Krystyna Watson found some truly warming images. Can you imagine being in the water next to the fire staring out those floor to ceiling windows?

On Deborah Ann Evans‘s board, behind a partial glass wall, we find this gorgeous tub to soak in above the ocean. Love the driftwood accent.

This Japanese-style soaking tub placed on rocks is shared on Kathryn Poulos’s board. The rocks are a zen nod to nature while adding texture to room.

Really, there is just so much more to see on all of these boards! To see more and enjoy the full experience, I recommend you visit Pinterest and search for “Indoor-Outdoor Spa Sanctuaries.”

Thank you again to everyone who participated in this contest. You’ve given us inspiration and an excuse to dream.

If you missed our contest, you can still share your cool finds on our Pinterest page, and while there, find some inspiration for indoor gardens that bring the outdoors in and outdoor rooms that bring the indoors out…virtually visit some urban gardens…browse some very cool containers…see what’s up with vertical gardens…or take a peek at what is just plain cool!

Unless otherwise noted, all images are linked from our contestant Pinterest boards, where you will find links to the their original sources.
