Ready to picnic? You can carry, unload, unzip, then unwind with Yield Design’s Picnic Bag. I love designers Rachel Gant and Andrew Deming’s totally utilitarian and water-resistant canvas bag that doubles as an everyday carryall for groceries, lunch, impromptu shopping–then with a single zip converts to a picnic blanket.

A long high tension zipper closes and opens the bag which unfolds to lie flat (36″ x 49″) for use indoors or out–a romantic afternoon in the park or play date with kids.

Great for travel: imagine picking up your cheese, baguette and wine in a Paris open market then heading to a park or the edge of the Seine to dine al fresco watching the boats glide by. Hey, a girl can dream.
