Lightweight Cement Furniture That’s Heavy in Design

Designer Robert Cannon, whose Terraform gardens we featured a while back, has designed some cool terraformed furniture made using a metal mesh armature covered with layers of stucco cement. The resulting furniture is strong, comfortable and weatherproof.

Cannon designed and built the furniture for a modern country terrace in Hopewell, NJ, but the pieces would work equally well in an urban setting.

Notice the Terraform table base which is planted…

Some ideas from the country,above, that would be right at home in the city.
