		<description><![CDATA[Next steps to a &quot;sustainable&quot; greenhouse would be to make it near zero net energy.  Its hard to imagine how a greenhouse could be sustainable in the winter without an excessively large fossil fuel heating bill.  

But it can be done.  See the net zero research greenhouse built in Boulder Colorado by Synergistic Building Technologies in cooperation with Cure Organic Farms and the Colorado Department of Agriculture.  

A 3000 square foot version 2 is being constructed in Denver to produce vegetables for local restaurants.
