Lighting the Winter Log

December 15, 2010 by

Nothing quite like getting bundled up and sitting outside by a warm winter fire. The Campfire Prairie, a fire pit by Dutch company Maandag, even resembles a snowflake, making it all the more winter friendly.

Made of Corten steel, the design pretty much dictates where to place the logs, making the perfect fire a cinch. Grab some grog, and start telling stories.
17.7 × 17.7 × 5.4 inches. $161 from Supermarket.

This is for people who need GPS’s – sorry, if you can’t make a fire you shouldn’t have a fire pit.

Fire building template, yeah! Fun way to practice setting up your logs. Good for children and those who did not grow up with a fire place.
