Urban Gardens Featured in New Interactive Magazine

June 10, 2010 by

There’s a new kid on the interactive magazine block. Urban Gardens was a contributor to this month’s issue of Artizen Magazine, a bi-monthly online publication of Catstone Press. The magazine’s June issue features our story Summertime and the Gardenin’ is Easy: 10 Ways Sustainable is Also Stylish, plus in-depth interviews of artisans in several genres supplemented with beautiful photography. The magazine aims to enhance the reader experience with interactive media including videos and slideshows, while also offering live shopping links to outstanding products–all on the pages of a free Flash magazine that will open easily in your browser.

The creativity and technology behind the pages is orchestrated by Artizen founder, graphic designer, Cindy Marks. She started Catstone two years ago and has now launched two editions of Artizen, her second digital magazine.

Marks’s company, Catstone Design, offers a number of design options for businesses wishing to use the digital publication format either to expand the reach of their own printed magazines and newsletters or to broadcast their services and information in a this digital page-turning format.
