Through the Glass Lightly

May 29, 2010 by

Some plants develop better when the roots are directly exposed to light. This is especially true of orchids, and apparently, marijuana. Just sayin’.

Life Pot, designed and produced in Barcelona by Jomi Marco & Josep Armengol for Sotanosiete, is a durable 150 x 150 x 170 mm clear Pyrex glass pot that delivers light directly to the plant’s roots while allowing a view of the subsoil growth. The designers intend for the roots to become a sort of “sculptural element.”

    Very elegant.

I’d imagine that there would be a lot of algae in a glass pot.
