NYC Urban Garden Event Today

Today, April 25, from 10 am to 4 pm, New York Restoration Project (NYRP) and the NYC Parks Department, along with presenting sponsor Organic Gardening magazine, invite New Yorkers to this annual, FREE outdoor festival that promotes community gardening, tree planting and care, urban farming and sustainable living.
NYC Grows is FREE and open to the public and will feature activities for all ages, including:
• Gardening and tree-planting workshops
• Organic cooking demonstrations
• Greenmarket with locally grown produce
• Eco-friendly products
• Hands-on urban farming activities
• Interactive demonstrations
• Free giveaways
• Live musical performances
