When Things Go to Pot

It’s not always easy to repot without disturbing the plant. Here’s a cool product design concept that can make it easier. Be sure the soil is moist enough so it doesn’t fall apart when you attempt to repot. Hold the stem, then slip your hand over the pot, turning it upside down. Tap it, then slowly pull the pot away from the plant.

If that doesn’t work, you can break the pot, as I have done on occasion. Or you could use a product such as this detachable container designed by Hyunjun Kim–if it existed. It doesn’t yet, but I love to plant new ideas.
